The building contains 2 separate programs. The Parents As Teachers program
is a free voluntary early learning program for parents with children birth
to kindergarten age. Parent educators assist new parents in recognizing
the seven developmental stages in the first years of a child’s life.
The Early Childhood Center program is for children 3-5 years with significant
developmental delays. They can receive speech, language, occupational
and/or physical therapy. Many of these children are medically fragile.
This facility combines a 2200 seat gymnasium, community fitness center,
and natatorium.
