Scope - New K-6th Grade Elementary School, 550 Students, including Demolition
Size - 76,971 SF
Design Considerations -
This is a two-story brick and block elementary school with first and second grade on lower level and third through sixth on second level along with English Language classrooms. Kindergarten is located in a separate wing of the building. Full kitchen, large multipurpose room, stage, gymnasium, and administration are all additional features of this new elementary school.
LEED Components -
We went through the application process and after reviewing the cost to incorporate all of the design elements needed to get the level of certification the School District wanted, they elected not to pursue LEED Certification.
