Design Considerations -
Hospital is designed as a 25-bed Critical Access Facility.  We have designed a central nurses station with close staff access to a 10-bed med/surg wing and 11-bed med-surg wing.  Each wing has designed offsets in each corridor to provide sub-nurse stations for each wing.

The facility design includes a 4-bed obstetrics wing with close proximity to the surgery department.  The emergency department is located adjacent to med/surg and includes seven exam rooms, two trauma rooms, and a triage area.  We expect staff to help each other with this close arrangement and to also help during increased patient visits.

The surgery department includes two major OR’s at 600 square feet and one minor OR at 400 square feet.  Radiology department is located in the core of the building and includes MRI, CT, nuclear camera, two ultrasound, mammography room, and two radiographic rooms.
