Design Considerations -
The new Company Operations Facility is designed to accommodate four Army companies with 44 soldiers each. The building contains office space for administrative staff and space for the storage of all necessary personal equipment and vehicles to support infantry soldiers on the
battlefield.

ACI/Boland was retained to provide architectural consulting services to a minority business enterprise partnering with a Design/Build Contractor. The Corps of Engineers selected the Design/Build delivery method to expedite the completion of the project for the training of new recruits.

The project is designed to be compatible with other facilities at Custer Hill at Fort Riley, utilizing red brick and dark brown sloping roof on the exterior.

The project was designed and built on an accelerated schedule. This project was delivered with a high level of quality and within budget.
