Design Considerations -
A long range space study for the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth assessed their retirement housing and varying degrees of assisted living needs through the year 2022.

The study resulted in planning for a new entrance for their assisted living facility, Ross Hall; a hydro-therapy pool addition; a new 32-guest retreat, Marillac Center; and renovations to the Mother House to include private baths with showers in each resident’s room.

New Ross Hall entrance addition included ground floor lobby and entrance, first floor tea room, and a second floor sewing/multipurpose room.

New 32-guest room Marillac Center included meeting rooms, guest dining/kitchen with outdoor dining terrace, library, chapel and circular multipurpose and prayer room.
